Backpack in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. First rode the Durango/Silverton train to the Needleton stop. First day hiked a few miles up Needle Creek. Second day into Chicago Basin. Third an Fourth days at Hazel Lake. Fifth day below the outlet of Hazel Lake just below tree line. Sixth day hiked to Durango City Reservoir #2. Seventh day back to the base of Chicago Basin. Eighth day out to the train.
